Mike Van Brugge started Djing around his 15th birthday, outgrew bedroom djing to become a professional radio DJ/ host. In those early years of his career, he hosted many radio shows on local radio stations in Belgium for more than 15 years and spend many nights as a resident Dj in several Belgian clubs between 1986 and 1996. Growing up with Disco and Funk, he survived the New Beat and Acid era in Belgium and ever since evolved into Minimal, Deep, Funky and Tech House.
“I guess I’m a house addicted in all his shapes and forms” Mike recently stated when revealing the plans he has for the summer of 2020.
He will be doing a second season at The Karma Beach Club, one of the most iconic spots on the Belgian coast. He will also be back at The Gathering that’s celebrating its 5th birthday this year. The Dream On party concept is also on his agenda where he will be sharing the decks with the best DJ’s deep house has brought forward in the last years. Continued collaboration with the Isavis record label on Deepnet Radio in Switzerland, Dance Tunes Radio and Star FM. Last but not least, Mike started a bi-weekly, 2-hour radio show on House Tech Radio, Tuesday nights from 9 till 11 CET, promoting his love for Deep Oriental House Music.
