DJ, producer and electronic music enthusiast, Marky Sparks hails out of London, UK.
Marky started mixing in the early 90’s on a pair of beat-up belt drive turntables and a dodgy two channel Made 2 Fade mixer. This decade led him into so many different genres in music, which ranged through old skool hardcore, breakbeat, house, techno, jungle, trance. Having friends that listened to such a diverse mix of music influenced his sound and helped him to understand music on a deeper level.
Fast forward to now and using his experience he’s acquired over the years; he’s held residencies at Café Mad and The Whitehouse in London. He’s hosted nights at MOS, Pacha, Turnmills (RIP), The Cross, Canvas and The Key in London, and soon to DJ and live stream on the media platform Twitch.
When not djing, he spends his time listing to music and curating mixes and perfecting his own mixing style… aided with over 2 decades of DJing at bars, clubs, pubs and parties in the UK, Europe and Asia, have led him to play at pre-parties at Exit Festival, Serbia to raves deep forests in Thailand, to sun drenched beaches in Ibiza.
For him, it’s all about mood and deep hypnotic grooves, feel good house bangers and tech tracks… Marky is always at the forefront of electronic music and is always on the lookout for new music, a DJ is only as good as the music they play.
