Meet Lino Benito Battani, also known as Lino B Deep. Originally from Sassari, Italy, he currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa. Lino B Deep draws immense inspiration from the captivating Sound System culture, the underground electronic music movement, and the pulsating warehouse parties. His passion lies in crafting deep, immersive soundscapes driven by powerful, bass-driven frequencies, intricate melodic textures, and skillfully edited percussive drum patterns.
Lino B Deep’s preferred medium for showcasing his musical prowess is deep house, which he skillfully plays on vinyl. He finds great pleasure in the tactile nature of this medium, reveling in the physicality and connection it offers.
With over 25 years of experience in the DJ circuit, Lino B Deep has graced the stage alongside esteemed artists such as “Lil Louie Vega,” Junior Jack, Deadmau5, Silicone Soul, DJ Rasoul, Wamdue Project, Heller & Farley, Carl Cox, Boy George, Osunlade, Tom Novey, and many more. He has also released seven mixed compilations in South Africa to date, in addition to numerous self-produced tracks and remixes available on various download platforms.
